What I really like about The Maldon Butchery is the provenance of the Beef, Pork and Lamb joints which Chris the butcher prepares on view in the shop from the whole carcass. He will also cut meat to your own specifications. The whole family love his homemade sausages, the Old Maldon is their favourite amongst the 7 choices.
There are racks filled with local honey, eggs, and Maldon sea salt,
Stocks, gravies, recipe mixes, even packs of potatoes.
My friends and I are so pleased to have a traditional butcher's back at that end of the High Street, and we are regular customers.

The Maldon Butchery is a proper traditional butchery with great quality meats. Chris, the owner is constantly preparing new oven-ready cuts and marinades. The sausages are immense meaty creations with a perfect texture (not too finely minced). The shop doesn’t try to diversify too far from the core offer. If you love meat, you will love this place.

Nothing is ever too much trouble
We had Rolled Turkey Breast with Bacon & Rib of Beef for Christmas Day. Both Meats were really Fresh & Just melted in your mouth. Chris is amazing at what he does and nothing is ever too much trouble. Highly Recommend The Maldon Butchery
